Luka Kiknadze Biography He was born on December 27, 1995 in Tbilisi. Drawing is an integral part of his life. He has been drawing since early childhood. As he recalls, when he was still in kindergarten, his parents took him to the zoo. It was there that an unknown artist painted his portrait, which made a great impression on Luka. Thus was born his desire for painting. What he was not lazy about and loved very much was drawing. Since then, he has been drawing day and night. This did not go unnoticed by his teacher and mentor Tamar Bakuradze, an artist by profession. With her direct support, Luka has shared the secrets of drawing techniques since childhood. She also organized his first exhibition at Public School N 195 in 2006. After that, he has had many personal and group exhibitions. From the age of 14 until entering the Academy, Luka studied at the Art School of Professor Eka Abuladze and trained as a future artist. Eventually, he chose painting as his profession. In 2015, Luka enrolled in the Faculty of Architecture of the Georgian State Academy of Fine Arts. A year later, he changed his specialty. He first studied illustration, and then easel graphics. It was in this specialty that he graduated from the first stage of the Academy of Fine Arts under the guidance of Professor Gogi Tsereteli and successfully defended his bachelor's degree on March 10, 2021. Then he continued his studies at the Master's degree program at the Faculty of Painting in the group of Prof. Gia Gugushvili, specializing in painting, which he also successfully completed in 2023. Luka Kiknadze again entered the Academy of Arts for a master's degree, this time in painting. He was enrolled in the group of Prof. Gogi Lazarashvili. Luka successfully completed the master's degree in painting in 2025 and at the same time entered the theatre painting specialty. Currently, he is studying in the first year of the theatre master's degree under the guidance of Barbara Aslamaz. Luka Kiknadze was twice a scholarship holder of the Tbilisi City Hall. On May 10, 2025, Luka Kiknadze opened his own art gallery (Tbilisi, Duma 8). Luka Kiknadze has participated in many group exhibitions, and has also had several personal exhibitions: at the M. Tumanishvili Theatre (2014); at the Parliamentary Library (2015); Gallery-Bar:,,Arteria”-2022; at the M. Tumanishvili Theatre (2022); at the Telavi History Museum (2024); Private Gallery-Shchepi St.#3 (2024); Luka has participated in the group exhibition - "Artisterium" - 2021 - at the Tapestry Museum; "Artisterium" 2022 - Open-Air Museum; in several group exhibitions at the Natela Iankoshvili House-Museum (2021-2023); Project-168 - group exhibition in Rustavi Park; in several group exhibitions at the Tbilisi Academy of Arts (2022-2024); In the project - "Hope Far from Home" - about displaced people (2024 - competition, second place with a cash prize); Project Ghani (Tbilisi Architects and Sculptors Association competition and exhibition), third place and cash prize (2025); several group exhibitions at the Silk Factory Museum (2018, 2024, 2025).
