Burning Into Blue

There is a spiritual tradition in many cultures of fire as transformation — not destruction, but the passage of one form of being into another. This work lives in that threshold. The trees do not stand still; they ascend, their leaves cycling through every shade of becoming — red, amber, gold — toward the cool luminous blue that opens above. The silver branches are the soul’s architecture: constant, curving, holding the colors without being consumed by them. This is an inner landscape of devotion, of the self willingly offered to the light it moves toward. To burn into blue is not to end. It is to arrive.
