Kamakura Blue

Kamakura has long been a source of inspiration for Japanese art and visual culture, where the sea, railway, and changing sky have become part of its poetic identity. “Kamakura Blue” reimagines this coastal landscape through an unconventional artistic language, bringing the sea, railway, and sky together in a vivid palette of cyan, deep blue, and soft pink.

The railway traces the edge of the sea as the horizon opens toward Enoshima, bringing movement and stillness into the same frame. The use of pink is intentionally bold, inspired by the fleeting hues that emerge across Kamakura’s sky at sunset.
