Viscera 5

In this series, I transmute literal depictions of organs and other bodily structures intended for medical study and objective reference into surreal interior spaces invoking opportunities for free association and introspection. I seek to centralize the unseen and unconscious processes through which our bodies operate, collapsing microcosm with macrocosm, the abstract with the viscerally concrete, and the deeply familiar with the unknowable.
