There are places where the world holds its breath and where light surrenders itself to water, and the shore becomes something other than land. This is one of those places.
In Drift In Radiance Upon The Shore, a solitary autumn leaf and its delicate branch rest where the tide has carried them gently upon the shore as though nature itself placed them there with intention. Worn by water and time, they speak quietly of journeys taken and distances travelled of letting go and arriving somewhere new the boundary between earth and sea and a wash of pure luminous color and light! Soft golds and amber light dancing across the surface of the water as the light finds its way through. The shoreline drifts in and out of stillness, as though the tide itself is caught between arriving and letting go!
This photograph was not just taken it was felt. A capture of Nature, in its most generous and unhurried state, offering everything and asking nothing in return.
Drift In Radiance Upon The Shore invites the viewer to pause, to breathe and to remember that beauty does not announce itself. It simply waits, radiant and patient, for those willing to be still enough to receive it!- Nicole Martinelli
