A guardian angel soared above Baku,
His wings spread wide, he sang in flight
A song of happiness and beauty —
A gentle song for you and me…
A song of a thousand shining words.
I remember the two most precious:
God and Love.

Ангел-хранитель парил над Баку.
Крылья расправив, пел на лету
Песню о счастье и красоте —
Тихую песню тебе пел и мне…
Песню из тысяч сияющих слов.
Помню два главных:
Бог и Любовь.
