Artist Statement
In my work, I explore themes of inner transformation, spirituality, solitude, hope, and the relationship between the individual and the surrounding world. Baku holds a special place in my art, becoming part of the symbolic space of my works. My painting is closely connected to my poetry: many of my paintings are accompanied by original poems, with visual and poetic languages complementing one another. I work primarily in acrylic on canvas, using rich colour, symbolic imagery, and elements of expressive and geometric stylisation.
