Guardian of Strength

“Guardian of Strength” is the visual continuation of the artist’s poem of the same title, written on June 11, 2021. The painting and the poem form a single work devoted to inner strength, freedom, and fidelity to one’s principles.

The central female figure, echoing the image of the Sphinx, is constructed from geometric forms and surrounded by powerful waves. Streams of light seem to descend from the heavens towards her head. She appears unshakable. Here, strength is understood not as physical superiority, but as an inner state — the ability to remain true to oneself, one’s convictions, and one’s chosen path.

Guardian of Strength

The strong are not loved — they are hard to tame,
Their spirit of freedom burns like a flame.
Their principles stand, unbroken and true,
Forged in the fires that they have passed through.
For truth and for honor, they firmly stand,
They never betray love with a treacherous hand.
They fear neither suffering, nor death’s final call —
Brave children of Nature, they stand proud and tall.
They betray neither friends nor the road they pursue.
The strong are so few, while the weak are so many…

Сильных не любят — они неудобны,
Они не изменят духу свободы.
У них не ломаются принципов сваи,
В адских горнилах их сталь закаляли.
Правда и честь для них как икона,
Они не обманут любовь вероломно.
Они не боятся ни боли, ни смерти —
Властной Природы храбрые дети.
Не предадут ни друзей, ни дорогу.
Сильных так мало, слабых так много…
