Biography
Oil painter
Artist Statement
My name is Bezhan Urfonov. I'm a Colorado-based oil painter, husband, and father of three. After spending many years away from art, I picked up the brush again and committed to painting every day. My work focuses on landscapes, classic cars, wildlife, and the everyday places and moments that tell a story.
I believe art should connect people, memories, and places. Through daily practice and continuous learning, I strive to create honest paintings that capture light, atmosphere, and emotion. My work has been displayed in local galleries and businesses across Colorado, and I enjoy sharing both my artistic journey and finished pieces with the community.
For me, painting isn't just about creating artwork—it's about growth, discipline, and finding beauty in ordinary moments."
