Forgotten in the Field

Old vehicles have always caught my attention. There is something about them—their character, their history, and the stories they seem to carry with them.

What drew me to this scene was the contrast between the weathered car and the vibrant autumn colors surrounding it. The warm grasses, soft light, and quiet atmosphere created a sense of nostalgia and calm that I wanted to capture in paint.

This piece became an exercise in simplifying shapes, chasing light, and finding beauty in ordinary subjects. Sometimes the simplest scenes leave the strongest impression.
